Differentiating Rarities
I know some of you have trouble telling which rarities are which Well, here is a guide that can probably help you out.
COMMON: (C) This card has no foil/shiny properties and is usually very easy to get.
RARE: (R) This card's name is the only foil on it. Harder than Commons to acquire.
SUPER RARE: (SR) The artwork on these cards is the only foil property.
PARALLEL RARE: (PR) *NOTE: Parallels are usually of a super rare variant* Parallels are when the card itself, the frame, is shiny. This may be hard to see, but when looked at with the right amount of light will be obvious.
ULTRA RARE: (UR) The name is in a gold foil and the artwork is foil too. (This is my fave rarity)
SECRET RARE: (SCR) The name is in a silver foil, and the artwork has triangular prisms on it. Easily found as the promo card in most Collector's tins.
Ultimate Rare: (ULT) The name is a gold foil and the artwork is somewhat embossed or pushed out, may have a Valentine's card texture. *NOTE: The Level Stars(IF ANY) and the attribute may also have this texture*
GHOST RARE: (GR) The name is a gold foil and the picture may seem colorless or silver. If you tilt the card at the right angle you can see the artwork clearly.
That should cover all of the rarity types. if there are any that I missed feel free to post them below. (I CANT EXPLAIN STARFOIL) I'm TheGreatDarkness667, until next time take care and have fun!
